Nobody does primitive
techno trance quite like the Italians, and Modern Heads are the cream of the
crop. Here we get three pitch perfectly idiosyncratically different takes on
what’s really involved in a chiasmic, edgy, dramatic big room track with no
sell out. I suppose the remixes not only up in level of intensity, but also in
the relative prestige each producer currently has. This is no indication of
ability or originality though, as Claudio PRC’s interpretation stands out
simply due to it’s relative fragility and dramatic potential. Both Giorgio
Gigli and Donato Dozzy step on the gas, producing more intense, driving
versions, but it’s PRC’s that lives in the memory the longest.
