A bubbling acid beauty that has stamina which, according to John Bryden, aka Eyes Of Others, is inspired by a visit to Sigmund Freud’s old house and a viewing of his couch. Built around a spoken word, a lot of which is a repetition of the title, it’s a steady chugging maelstrom of a track. The album version is purged of the vocals, so let’s cut to the chase and the Fantastic Man remix. This adds on a couple of minutes, and elongates the track to a tranced out journey of synthetic bliss. There’s a lot of it about at the moment, and this is, as far as I’m concerned, sailing in safe seas. It’s not to urgent and has depth, keeps the acid, although it is more subdued, and elevates the vocal somewhat. Of course it’s pacier than the original, but stays within sensible limits. Which is nice.
