“Techno tools” they are labelled, and “techno tools” they be. However, with so much toolidge on the market, is there anything to elevate this pair from the competition? Well, in spite of the general sound design, what we have here, in general parlance, are a couple of “lugubrious rollers”. Particularly ‘Nice’, which sounds like its having trouble getting out of bed, even with the aid of the farting trumpet; unusual in these circles. ‘Shivering’ raises the tempo thanks to its trireme percussion and synth stabs. Well-produced and plaudits for bringing the tempo down a little.
