After having been told what an amazing track this was by the permsstoned Alex Christofides, I heard it for the first time at the first "Storm" at The Top Rank, Brighton, in early December 1989. That was some night; highlighters were hip house luminaries, Fat Eddie and Tyree Cooper. I can't remember who else played, but I'm sure that when we walked in it was Oakenfold on the decks. Weatherall was there too, wasn't he? I could well be wrong though. Anyway, it sounded great and the beans were fantastic. There was a mob of us down there that night, all spangled and with the world at our feet, and this ahead of its time breakbeat monster with shades of 23 Skidoo was leading the way.
