Achievement
Maybe not the most
obvious choice for an UTTU release, but
then what is these days? There’s nothing predictable about these four tracks;
each of them play with conventional dance floor tempos and motifs, but do so in
such an interesting way that they spread themselves a whole lot thinner in the
process. Offering a glimpse into a parallel world where convention is smudged
and partially erased, only to give a glimpse through layers of teased
convention, this is the most interesting release I’ve heard all year, even
though it came out last month.
